Historical market review

On March 14, 2020, the Bank of Canada once again urgently cut interest rates by 50 basis points, reducing the key overnight interest rate by 50 basis points to 0.75%. Affected by the news, USDCAD were boosted. The price started to rise from 1.3728 and hit a high of 1.4667 on March 19, an increase of more than 900 pips.
